| Engr. Dr. Olusola Adetola Ogunjirin had his first and second degrees in Agricultural Engineering in 1991 and 1995 respectively from the University of Ilorin, Kwara State. He later obtained his Doctor of Philosophy in Agricultural Engineering (Farm Power and Machinery) from the Federal University of Technology, Akure, Ondo State. He is vastly experienced in the area of farm machinery development for small scale farmers, tillage studies, farm and machinery management, land development, farm mechanization and tractor hiring services. He underwent Tractor Testing Training in Nebraska Tractor Test Laboratory, Nebraska, United States of America. He also trained in Tsukuba International Centre, Japan on Development of Small-Scale Machinery for farmers. He is an Agricultural Mechanization Consultant in land clearing, tractor repair and maintenance, processing equipment, etc.
He became a registered engineer with the Council for the Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria (COREN) since 2003. He also belongs to several professional organizations. He is a: – Fellow, Nigerian Society of Engineers (NSE) Fellow, Nigerian Institution of Agricultural Engineers, (NIAE), Member, International Soil Tillage Research Organization, (ISTRO), Member, Board of Trustee, Soil Tillage Awareness and Development Initiative (STADI) Member, American Society for Agricultural and Biological Engineers (ASABE), Member, Nigerian Society of Engineers (NSE) since 2001. Accredited Management Trainer, Nigerian Council of Management Development (NCMD 005343): June 2020 He has over forty (40) publications in highly revered nationally and internationally journals. He is married to Engr. (Mrs.) O. C. Ogunjirin and are blessed with children. |
