NOTICE OF RESCHEDULING OF NIAE 23RD INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE & 43RD ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING (MAIDUGURI 2023)
This is to notify you, distinguished professional colleagues that the National Executive Council (NEC) of the Institution, at her Emergency Meeting held on 13th August, 2023 have rescheduled its International Conference and Annual General Meeting (AGM), earlier scheduled for 18th – 22nd September, 2023. The new date is 30th October – 3rd November, 2023.
The rescheduling is at the instance of our Chief Host, His Excellency, the Governor of Borno State, Engr Prof Babagana Zulum, FNSE, FNIAE, mni, who will not be available on the initial dates, for reasons beyond his control. NEC felt it’s honorable for himself to be present at the conference, and for us to give him our support to enable him achieve his laudable projects, as he commenced his second term in office.
Other important dates to note:
- 15th September, 2023: Pre – registration ends, at ₦35, 000 (thirty five thousand naira) only, while late registration begins afterwards at ₦45,000;
- Submission of full paper also ends on the 15th September, 2023.
Members are encouraged to register and offset their annual dues in order to participate in the conference and elections.
Note also that the conference will be hybrid, and the election will be online.
All inconveniences are highly regretted. We hope to give you the best as the LOC is already working hard for a very successful conference in all ramifications.
